One Year Anniversary of the Space Force: Achievements and Future Challenges

Please join us on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, 12Noon EST, for a special speaker –  Lt. General William J. “Bill” Liquori Jr., Deputy Chief of Space Operations, Strategy, Plans, Programs, Requirements, and Analysis, United States Space Force.  That formidable portfolio includes overall responsibility for requirements and budget for the Space Force.

Given how much progress has been made by the Space Force, it is hard to believe that this December will mark the one year anniversary since the new service was officially stood up.

WSBR is most fortunate to have General Liquori – whose career includes an impressive variety of assignments, including the White House National Security Council – speak to the achievements of the Space Force in a short 12 months, while identifying the challenges facing the Space Force leadership in the months and years ahead. And, of course, we will be keenly interested in the General’s views on how space industry can best partner with the Space Force in helping to advance its critical mission.

Lt Gen William J. Liquori, Jr. is the Deputy Chief of Space Operations, Strategy, Plans, Programs, Requirements, and Analysis, United States Space Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. As the Chief Strategy and Resourcing Officer, Lt Gen Liquori has overall responsibility for the strategies, requirements, and budget of the United States Space Force.

Lt. Gen. Liquori entered the Air Force in 1991 as a distinguished graduate of the Air Force ROTC program at Boston University. His career has included numerous operations and staff positions in Air Force Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, the Air Force Secretariat, U.S. European Command, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the White House, and the United States Space Force. Lt. Gen. Liquori has commanded a space operations squadron and the 50th Space Wing.

He is a graduate and former instructor of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. His operational experiences include operations Southern Watch and Enduring Freedom. Prior to his current assignment, Lt. Gen. Liquori served as the Director of Strategic Requirements, Architectures and Analysis, Headquarters United States Space Force, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.”
