Panel on Space Investment

Space Investment – There has been significant growth in, and attention to, commercial space driven by lower cost structures, and more accessible, innovative business models to enter the space sector. With huge growth in areas such as development of smaller and flexible satellites, a broad range of launch vehicles and shared launch service offerings, innovations in satellite-to-satellite links, ground architecture, small and large constellations, space tourism, as well as crew and cargo and in-orbit servicing, it is clear that the interest in commercial space is just beginning. The viability of any number of these business models and/or sustainability of how many offerings in the market is still to be confirmed. How do investors evaluate and access these opportunities, and how do investors see their role in adding value and ultimately exit? And what does your crystal ball show you for 2020?
