WSBR Flagship Lunch & Silent Auction

WSBR’s Flagship Lunch and Silent Auction is always a must-attend event during the annual SATELLITE Conference sponsored by Via Satellite and Access Intelligence.

Keynote Speaker: Gwynne Shotwell, President and Chief Operating Officer of SpaceX

Silent Auction
The silent auction opens before the luncheon and runs throughout the luncheon for guests to bid. All auction items are generously donated by members of the satellite and space community. Donations may have a space theme, such as models or imagery, or include a wide range of other desirable items such as electronics, restaurant certificates, box seats, sports tickets, conference registrations, etc.

Auction Prize Donations
We invite your organization to make a donation to the WSBR auction. Donor recognition includes your organization’s logo on the item’s bid sheet and acknowledgement in all pre-event publicity, in the printed auction materials and spoken by emcee at the event. All proceeds from the lunch benefit the WSBR Scholarship Fund.

Scholarship Fund
WSBR works in cooperation with national and local educational organizations, including organizations such as the Challenger Center, the Inspire Project and the Space Academy at NASA’s Marshall Space Center in Huntsville, AL, believing that education leads to a strong future -- both in space and on earth. Focused on providing opportunities to Washington-area youth particularly in the middle school age group, the fund supports scholarships, curriculum enrichment activities, and local school projects.
