Our Mission

WSBR was established in 1985 to advance the interests and commercialization of space through education, promotion and the interaction of professionals within the space and satellite communications sectors.

Primarily through its monthly luncheon series and its annual Education Awards, WSBR focuses on a range of industry sectors including space exploration, government regulations and contracting, commercial satellite and launch services, remote sensing, global positioning, broadband communications and emerging technologies and applications.

As a charitable, 501(C)(3) organization, the Washington Space Business Roundtable strives to support space-related interests and develop opportunities for young people in the Washington Metropolitan area. The organization funds activities to support the education of young students relating to space and space-related technology with the goal of stimulating interest in careers in space-related fields.
