Tom Eaton is president of Harris CapRock Communications, the global communications service subsidiary of Harris Corp. Harris CapRock provides mission-critical solutions for the energy, government, and maritime industries. Previously, Mr. Eaton was Harris CapRock’s global operations officer, with responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and service quality.
Prior to this role, he served as president of the business’s government division, where he tripled its annual revenue between 2008 and 2011. Mr. Eaton transitioned the business from a bandwidth reseller to a fully managed services and terrestrial network provider.
Mr. Eaton has held various leadership roles within the international satellite, government, and telecommunications sectors serving clients in a broad range of markets.
Previously Mr. Eaton was president of G2 Satellite Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of PanAmSat, where he was responsible for developing innovative communications solutions for the U.S. and international government markets. While at PanAmSat he also served as executive vice president of global sales and marketing. Prior to that, Mr. Eaton led Intelsat’s global sales and customer support organization and also served as co-founder and vice president of sales and marketing for Integrated Network Services, Inc.
Mr. Eaton holds a master of business administration degree from Mercer University and a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Georgia.
