a 501(c) 3 corporation, all contributions to the WSBR Scholarship Fund are
100% tax deductible. WSBR Educational Initiatives The Washington Space Business Roundtable is dedicated to supporting educational opportunities for Washington-area youth, including scholarships, curriculum enrichment activities, and support of various local school projects. WSBR works in cooperation with national and local educational organizations, including Science Services, NASA Education, and the National Science Foundation, believing that education leads to a strong future - both in space and on earth. For more infomation contact our Education Chair, John Janka at john.janka@lw.com Eligibility for WSBR Scholarships WSBR scholarships are awarded to high-school seniors in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area, who have demonstrated excellence in math and science during the academic year and -- are college-bound. Students are selected on the basis of teacher and community leader recommendations and academic performance. WSBR has a panel of judges who review science projects, research papers and other submitted materials. Although any student may submit a project or paper to be reviewed by WSBR, we traditionally have selected scholarship local winners from the International Science and Engineering Fair, run by Science Service.
